Get You Organised Organising Agreement

Our Booking Terms and Conditions

Agreement Covering the works provided by a Professional Organiser supplied by Get You Organised (henceforth, GYO):

Tasks Covered

Your professional organiser will work under your direction or to your pre-discussed specifications. They will only work in areas of your space that they have previously
discussed with you.

i. Communication with your organiser
You are required to communicate your needs with your organiser prior to the session or upon session commencement. This will be an ongoing dialogue.

ii. Duties that may be performed
Your organiser may perform the duties of decluttering, reorganising, sorting, storage implementation, and client training.

iii. Duties which may not be performed
Your organiser will not climb an extension ladder, move furniture, conduct general cleaning or laundering duties in your space. If furniture needs to be moved you are required to provide in-person support or for an “easy move” adjustment (i.e. installing soft feet to furniture).

Relocation/Donation

Items will not be removed from a client’s space without their knowledge or consent. Organisers will not dispose of items unless the owner of the item consents (this includes family members in the space).

i. Your organiser may be able to recommend various locations for unwanted items to be donated or removed to.

ii. Your organiser in conjunction with GYO can help you to arrange a skip bin (at cost to the client)

iii. Any removal of items to a charity location/bin/depot (if they so agree) will incur an additional minimum 30 minute fee to be applied to your invoice.

Damages/Breakages

Should your organiser damage or break anything in your space please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Please notify us even if you decide not to repair or replace the item. Each organiser is covered by their own Liability Insurance and once established you will work with them directly.

Hiring/Referral

Our hiring and referral clauses are non-negotiable and are enforced. Please note organisers are bound by these clauses.

i. Your organiser cannot work directly with you or a referral of yours for a period of 2 years following an introduction by GYO.

ii. You will not refer an organiser directly to a friend or family member. Any referrals must be made through GYO head office.

Serviced Hours
Organisers are available to work during normal business hours and on weekends by appointment only. A minimum session duration of 6 hours applies to all organiser bookings.

Terms & Cancellations

Unfortunately, as our organisers usually book well in advance, our cancellation and rescheduling policies are strict.

i. The $100 deposit is non refundable. Should you move your session, this deposit will be applied to that booking. More than 1 reschedule with further delay may see GYO refuse to rebook.

ii. Any cancellations within 2 business days of the session booking date will incur a 50% of session fee charge.

iii. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the booking date will incur a 100% session fee charge.

iv. In some circumstances we may be able to reschedule without charge, but this will be at the discretion of the individual organiser.

iv. Invoice terms are; payable within 5 days of issue. Your invoice will be issued at the end of the session as completed by the organiser.

Organiser Travel Expenses:
i. By prior arrangement, regional travel is charged at $00.97 cents per kilometre to and from your home to the residence of the organiser.
ii. Should an overnight stay be included, the organiser will estimate the cost of accommodation prior to booking. This will be added to the invoice.

Payment Methods

Payment methods are listed on the invoice. There are both fee-free and fee-applicable payment options (VISA/Mastercard).

Organising Testimonials

The only thing I have to say is that I wish we contacted you sooner. For anyone hesitating to book, I would say “just do it!”
